Our first costly setback in the trip took place when we woke up late and missed our Melbourne flight. Fortunately we were able to purchase tickets for the following flight in time. In Melbourne, Thrifty offered a free upgrade from a corolla hatchback to an awesome 380 Mitsubishi Magna. We made up for the lost time and got to our rented apartment on time.
Delatite Apartment: Timbertop was the name of our rented apartment. Described like the name, our apartment was actually built on top of timber pillars. The room offers a fantastic country side view with a beautiful stream that stretches across the land. Often enough, flocks of white parrots could be seen resting on the nearby withered tree. Taking a breath of the refreshing air was what we needed most from a day of rushing.
