Warner Bros. Movie World
Warner Bros. Movie World is a popular movie related theme park on the Gold Coast in Australia. It is owned and operated by Village Roadshow since the take over from Time Warner and is the only movie related park in Australia. It opened on June 3, 1991.
The park contains various movie-themed rides and attractions ranging from motion simulators to roller coasters and slow river rides. In addition, costumed character performers also patrol the park, allowing visitors the chance to take photos with them. These include Catwoman, Batman, Austin Powers, Marilyn Monroe, Scooby Doo, The Mystery Inc. Gang and various Looney Tunes characters. Minor street shows including skits and singing performances are also present. The All-Star Parade showcases costumed characters alongside vehicles and movie-themed floats.
There are a number of active film studios within the Movie World complex. House of Wax, the live-action Scooby Doo films, the 2003 Peter Pan film, Ghost Ship, The Condemned and Fortress are amongst the many films and television series produced at Warner Roadshow Studios, adjoining Warner Bros. Movie World.

SUPERMAN Escape
Warner Bros. Movie World has launched its most awesome new ride experience, SUPERMAN Escape!
SUPERMAN Escape is an unprecedented rollercoaster ride experience which travels 0 - 100 kilometres in just 2 seconds! That's not fast that's SUPERMAN fast! With 760 metres of vertical climbs, weightless drops, head spinning twists and giant G-force turns, SUPERMAN Escape completely redefines the coaster experience.
The exciting pre-show adventure is an attraction in itself, themed around the popular DC Super Hero. Guests commence their adventure in a METROPOLIS subway loading dock. As they travel through the subway, a terrifying earthquake takes hold and threatens their safe passage.
To escape the catastrophe, SUPERMAN rescues guests by propelling their carriage out then vertically upwards at 100km per hour!

The world's bravest Great Dane has arrived at Warner Bros. Movie World with the launch of the scariest, spookiest spine-tingling rollercoaster ever created!
Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster is a $13 million indoor rollercoaster ride inspired by the feature film shot at Warner Roadshow Movie World Studios on the Gold Coast.
Prepare for the supernatural as you enter the creepy dimly lit courtyard and move into the heart of Spooky Castle but watch out for ghouls, gargoyles and the odd talking suit of armour!
Coaster cars carefully replicated from Scooby-Doo the film, launch guests on a hair-raising journey complete with laser lighting and sound effects, animatronics and a kaleidoscope of colour, depth, height and trickery of dimension. Be afraid...be kind of afraid!
